Some laugh at me saying I am stupid to be speaking the truth.
Some advise me to speak only partial truths as the world is not ready to hear the whole truth.
Some smile smugly within themselves watching me face the brutal brunt of being honestly me.
Some judge me and condemn me because I do not meet their idea of who I need to be.
Some certainly value me for my authentic self.
A few though are inspired to be authentically themselves because they see the courage in me shine through as I am presenting my authentic self to the world.
Sometimes silent, sometimes still, sometimes singing my song, sometimes drumming to my rhythm, sometimes dancing with gay abandon, sometimes walking slowly.... at all times looking within and upwards....
No matter what comes to me from without I am myself. Gently!
